The Better Business Acceleration Program
The Better Business Acceleration Program is a 6 weeks online program designed to help you surf the waves of the Sustainability Revolution, build a Better Business and a Better Future. It will help you understand the big picture, learn from the sustainability trailblazers in in the frontline, and provide perspectives and tools to help accelerate your company's transformation. Because Better Business is not only urgent, but also a window of immense business opportunity and a potential competitive advantage. A completed program is awarded with a Certificate of Better Business Acceleration.
Program Introduction
First, a warm welcome to the Better Business Acceleration Program! To get a head start, view the welcome video, get to know your teacher, read through the course guidelines, download the course workbook, and find your way to the community forum. Module 1. The Sustainability Revolution
This module will help you understand the Sustainability Revolution. Planetary boundaries are being exceeded beyond what is known as safe for life on Earth, and action is required. The Sustainability Revolution is now upon us with the same intensity and impact as the digital revolution before it. What is going on?
Module 2. The Path Beyond Business As Usual
In this module we will explore the path beyond business as usual. Because business as usual will not bring us the future that we want. The road beyond, however, remains elusive to many. Here, we will elaborate on that and suggest a clear direction - ultimately that of Regenerative Business, via Better Business.
Module 3. Reenvisioning The Future
Business is currently at an inflection point, where the Sustainability Revolution is bound to be as transformative as the digital revolution before it. Technological advances and new business opportunities however present immense potential for those who proactively steps up to the challenge.
Module 4. Learning From Sustainability Trailblazers
The future is not evenly distributed - the pioneers are far ahead already, and the laggards are getting left behind as the early majority is now moving. There is however still time to act. Learning from real cases of trailblazers in the field of sustainability - like Patagonia, Interface, Unilever, Ørsted, IKEA and Oatly - will help you understand the evolution of Better Business, and where the very frontline is today. This in turn will help you step up to the challenge, and help you shape your own business and ecosystem going forward.
Module 5. Understanding The Strategic Playing Fields
In this module you will learn to grasp the three strategic playing fields and five strategic intents of sustainability trailblazers. You will also benchmark your own business towards the trailblazers, reflect on how to accelerate the transformation of your business and draft your very own action plan.
Module 6. Realizing That It Starts With You
The focus of this last module is you. Because this is where it starts - with ourselves. We will look into how our current beliefs may hinder us on the way. How we might unconsciously sabotage our own good intentions. And how we can step up to the challenge of our lifetime, to build Better Business and a Better Future.
End Of Program. Summary And Certification
In this final part, we shortly summarize the program and discuss a few potential steps to support your journey going forward. We also ask for your feed-back and provide a worksheet for you to briefly document your progress to obtain the Certificate of Better Business Acceleration.
